It is better you buy a book on cheque bouncing than going for online notes.

Cheque bounce law is simple and short=

1) cheque from your account   2) it is bounced and 3) not paid even after notice.

Then fine for double the amount and prison upto two years.

It is the expertise of an advocate to come out of cheque bounce case , such tactics can not be written in any books amd can even not be sought through public web sites.

Just remember the example of MP  AZRUDDIN who is a congress MP  and was part of passing this cheque bounce law still he was fined FIFTEEN LACS in DELHI court even after compromising the case. Becasuse just because the team of advocates hired by him did not take proper steps at appropriate time.

I am of the view that time has come to set up a seperate Tribunal through out the Country to deal with NIA cases with stringent provisions in line with MACT.
