my landlord is refusing to give the security deposit money 1lakh. apart from that they are stopped water connection also. they are demanding to vacate the house and the moeny will be given after couple of months. Pls advice

A. What is the status of the lease/rent period as per the lease or rent agreement?
B. The land owner to be returned the Security Deposit at the time of vacation of the premises.
C. Issue a legal notice to the landowner to return the deposit. Don't vacate the premises unless obtained the Security Deposit.
D. Later, you can approach the court for recovery of the money by conducting summary proceedings.
