Land acquisition in 2015 for road expansion

Hello,
I have a house in Valsad, Gujarat. In 2015, the municipality wanted to expand roads, and they took some land from the front of our house. This was doen to many people other than a few. I know that the house whose land was not taken paid money to officers, and their property stands about 5 metres ahead of mine.

What can I do to take action on this? This is not fair that only a few people have been effected. 

Any advise will be appreciated.
