Dear Concerned Expert,
Have gone through couple of new paper article about land amendment act in karnataka passed during August 2015 sometime. According to articles the income level for non agriculturists have been amended from 2 Lakh to 25 Lakh annual... Is this enforced and applicable now?
According to above, what are the formalities required to buy an agricultural land by a non agricultural person.

Yes. it is amended the limit of total income of a peson who wants to purchase the agrl., land is raised from 2 lakhs to 25 lakhs.
Non agrl., person will have to obtain the permission of the Asst. commissioner to purchase the agrl., land.

Regarding permission from AC, what is the judistriction ie., to avail permission from the AC of the area belonging to land or the area where purchaser resides ? I believe its area where land is located ?
