Jurisdiction change in sale deed

Any clarification in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Our apartment somehow has been registered under a wrong jurisdiction. I understand that this can be corrected only by a Rectification Deed, is my understanding correct? Secondly what would be the stamp duty I will have to bear towards this registration.
