Judgements from a principle judge

Different types of Courts

Lower Court

District and Sessions Court

Family Court

Military Court

High Court

Supreme Court

I see Family court a different type of court specialized in family matters.

A chief justice in family court is termed as a Principle Judge.

Are the Principle Judge's judgements, because of being specialized in family matters, accepted by lower Courts similar to those delivered by the Justices of higher courts?

Meaning if a judgement by a Principle Judge of a family court is cited by a lawyer in a Lower Court ?????

Would the Lower Court follow it?

The judgements of a family court is similar to the judgements passed by a district court. normally we do not quote the judgements of lower courts as precedents.

The Lower courts generally follow the judgements of High court and Supreme court only.

Judgments of respective HC & SC are cited not of a family court. Further, its the discretion of the judge whether to rely on the order or not. Its not mandatory. However, any order or relevant ruels by the SC are to be abided by the lower courts.
