Mohana Varma (FAMILY COUNSELOR WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TRAINING TECHNICAL CONSULTANT)     10 December 2017

Judgement meaning

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the subsequent developments, namely, death of respondent No.3, nothing further survives in the writ petition. "Writ petition is disposed of as rendered infructuous." Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. By the 2 judge bench of HC-TAP, of H'able chief Justice. The judgement is read as above. During 2015 over a writ petition filed for relief in unilateral cancellations of gift deed. I am the only legal survivor of the family. My question is does this judgement say that I have been given relief and that the cancellation of gift deed is invalid or i need further clarity from the court. Few say, i am at relief, while few say it's not. Am confused and wanted sell the asset. If I had to ask for clarity, where & whom should I ask. "Costs are as poison for me today."
