Since my wife programs my son, who is six years old, against me and my parents,
many suggested to plant a spy camera secretly so that it keeps recording everything and later
on that may be good help in child custody and divorce cases. I would like to know
if recording that way is legal? What are alternatives if it is illegal?

It is not illegal per se but you cannot put spy cameras like say in the bedroom. That would be a gross invasion of privacy. If she is indeed programming your son, you can have a conversation with him and record that instead. Im sure he will reveal everything.
