I have sent Notary documents and some other documents to Indiabulls Ventures Ltd. for transmiision of shares of my father's Id to my mom I'd as he passed away last year. but the transmission got rejected and they said the reason that notary serial number is missing. Is notary serial number given in every state??? I'm from Andhra Pradesh, so is Notary serial number given in AP???

Yes. Every notrary after getting Certificate of Practice, he should submit renew application for every five years. The certificate of Practice and Renewal of Practice numbers will be given. The Notary must note "my commission expires on........... in the seal of his Notary.

Sir, is notary serial number different from regd. no. of the notary or they both one and same

The Noatry serial number is in seal..
Check and ask specifically if Notary should have assigned serial number on stamp/document ..
IT could be the serial number from Notary's register...at which sale to you was noted
Pursue Notary Act, Notary Rules..
IN any case you must be having copies..
Meet the said Notary and ask to clarify.
