Can a Judge or a person who had qualified JMFC become the member of bar council of India?

After giving JMFC and completing one year as judge can he try for becoming memeber of bar council of India?

Once some one is appointed as a Judge he falls under the perview of judicial department hence cannot contest elections to become a Bar Council member.

Only practising advocates having put in.more than one year of practise are eligible to file their nominations for 75 posts as bar council members.
