Is 200 crpc a good option in all cases?

Section 200 of The Criminal Procedure Code has nothing to do with search and seizure.

The Section enables a Complainant to move the Court without involving the police.

The Court most often involves the police.

I am aware of that. I want to know if it is a good option when the complainant has 40% evidence and the rest is obtainable through search and seizure by police.
