Inter-religion marriage procedure and inheritance law

My partner and I of different religions ( hindu and christian ) wish to get married and would like to know the exact procedure and formalities involved to go about doing so under the special marriage act or otherwise.

Secondly, we would like to know if she (hindu) would be able to inherit property from her mother post marriage and what inheritance laws shall apply.

Thirdly, we would also like to consult with a specialist family lawyer in south mumbai. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help

If  U R planning to get married under Special Marriages Act, go for it. If both of U belonging to different religions are confident that the parents of both the sides will not bother, marry as soon as possible.Right now why do U bother about her inheritance of property.

Hi, Thanks for replying so soon. The reason I asked about inheritance is because she is bothered since she read that special marraige act supercedes hindu succession act. We are looking for details. Also we would like to know the exact procedure to go about getting married as well as any suggestions about advocates in south mumbai area we can consult with. Thank you for your reply though.
