Hi all, I am from pune. I have an 11 month rent agreement with my landlord as to pay 10500Rs/Month. rent for period starting from june 2017 to may 2017
now my landlord wants 500Rs more so rent will become 11000 from November 2017. he said that either I have to pay 11000 Rs or leave the property. then I agree to pay 11000 and I have paid 11000 as rent of november 2017. and when I asked for modified agreement then he simply made changes with pen and signed himself and saying that it works and legal. is it legal to increase rent before 11 months? is it legal to just write and increase rent? or the 11 month agreement doesn't become legal hence we haven't paid registration fees since it was not 12 or more months?
