Hi, first of all I really want to thank anyone who can give me a little insight to what I am going to ask...Thank you!...My friend came to India from England, converted to Islam and married a Indian Muslim gentleman. She still has the nikahnama from the marriage eighteen years back and never left India. Could someone let me know if there is any law under Muslim Law where naturally after getting married to an Indian Muslim , and living with him for considerable amount of time (18 years) she automatically becomes an Indian citizen. As no paper work was processed because of certain personal issues. Really appreciate all your help.
