Importance of a gazetted document for a single parent

I am a female, muslim and legally divorced since 1 year with mutual consent . I have a 3 year old son who is in my custody since birth.

I have an agreement (mutully agreed) on stamp paper(100 Rs) with my ex-husband for divorce and that he has no right whatsoever to claim the custody of my son. Other than this, I have a divorce certificate on the letter head of our Jamat from the head (Janab).

I would like to know if I am secure for my son or ex-husband can claim custody in future? Should I apply for a Single Parent Gazetted document (Rajkot Office) on the basis of Divorce Decree to be more secure?

I have plans to move abroad with my son. Can this Gazetted document work well with school admission process?

Or kindly guide what precautions i should take or what legal documents I should make to avoid his claim for custody of my son in future.

Please help...
