How to serve summons to someone in us

Hi All,

I need to serve the summons in US.

Can you please let me know the process and time frame for the same.

I heard it has to be through MLet or soemthing.. Can you please advice..??

Also I am taking a hand delivery of summons to served to people in India for the same. The court has told me to go to a police station ( it is a DV case) and take them to the respondents house and serve the summons..

Can I do the same in US? Can the police in US serve the Inidan court summons?

Please can you advice me on the process for the same?

You can file a process memo by paying process fee and filing a cover with acknowledgment of foreign airmail containing US address and arrange to send it through court as well as with the permission of court take private notice.
