How to obtain legal heir certificate without ration card

Pls help with the procedure to obtain legal heir certificate without ration card in the current address. My mother expired in Jun 2016 and i have only one brother.

Make application to local court within jurisdiction where u resides.

Tehsildar isues legal hier certificate and report by revenue officers e.g; Kanungo,Patwaari is prepared.

Yes u have to approach the Court only for Legal Heir Certificate. Tahsildar issues only to specific people

In some states it might be termed as 'Family Tree' or 'Family Certificate'.

Tehsildar isues legal hier certificate and report by revenue officers e.g; Kanungo,Patwaari is prepared.
