Under Crpc 125, maintenance is granted to child( son). Is there any age limit until which the father should pay the maintenence for child ? Child is under the custody of mother

Unil the child gets major (18) if the child is physically and mentally fit. However if the child is not - it can seek maintenance even after attaining majority.

Till attaining the majority maintenance will have to be paid.

If father takes the complete guardianship of child, will wife( mother of child) be asked to pay maintenance for child ?

The maintenance of the child has to be borne by both the parents in proportion to their earnings and abilities.  If the child is with the father, and the father is unable to maintain the child and if the mother is working, she will have to bear some cost of the child maintenance.
