A flat was acquired by my parents in my mother's name under pagdi system. My father expired & my mother is living with my brother. I am also staying in the suburbs with my children. The landlord sold the property to a developer but he is in jail. Since July - Oct the house furniture repairs were being carried out. If we dont move into that house, what will happen to it? How long can we keep it unoccupied? Please let me know. What are the legalities that are involved? We are only two legal heirs - my brother is staying in the suburbs too.
