Dear Sir,
I want to buy a cooperative membership at New Town Kolkata which was alloted by HIDCO,kolkata in the year 2004-2005 by lottery @ Rs1lakh(approx). Presently the transferor demands around Rs20lakh for transfer of membership in my name but the problem is since cooperative is non profitable organisation the transferor wants 90% of money in cash and rest by cheque/dd. However,I have liquid money but since I am salaried, I am bit worried to pay money in cash, could you please let me know what is the right way to make the deal successful?How to proceed to transfer membership in my name? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
