Dear Learned Members,
My friend's father while serving our Defense Establishment was accused in a criminal case. While the case was being investigated, he was under Military Custody from the date of retirement for 2 months and turned over to CBI. During the pendency of the case, he passed away.
Despite his death, the Defense establishment has not released his retirement benefits to his surviving family members.
Please advise action to be initiated to obtain retirement benefits such as pension under the circumstances.
