Gst on advocates

What is the current status of GST upon Lawyers. Are Lawyers to be compulsorily required to be registered under GST. And what was the final judgement of the court, when SC intervened in proceedings at Delhi High Court and another, a year back !

service provided by advocate is exempt from GST which has to pay by service receiver on reverse charge mechanism if it takes services from advocate.
