My brother is a NRI, residing in Singapore and he has executed a GPA from Indian Embasy there and I have got it adjudified here in Bangalore. We are planning to buy 3 sites here. Bank is requesting for 1 GPA per site. The GPA which was executed earlier is very generic. It does not contain any site number or such specific information. I'm not logically convinced of the reason why they want it, but need legal input here. Now my question is,
1) Is this the common practice followed across when they buy multiple properties?
2) If they insist for 3 GPA, is it possible to get same 3 GPA and also is it possible to get them all adjudified because they were made between same persons, who's name would have already got registered for their GPA relationship in government registry right?
Please guide me on my next set of action...
