My dad has agriculutral land both ancestral and the one that he bought in haryana. He has transferred his ancestral land to my mom. For the land that he bought , he has his brothers as co-owners, but he is the cultivator on the part of the land.
I am an adopted kid. There is no legal paper work on adoption, but my dad’s name is in my school records and on my passport. He also has a will where he has listed me to inherit all his property.
But since his agricultural land has shared ownership with his brothers. He is concerned that they might try to create problems for me. So he wants to pass on everything to me while he is alive. What is the best way for this situation. Is his will good enough or should he transfer using gift deed , or is there any other better economical way to transfer land to my name
