Gift deed

My Client want to gift 3 acre land to his grand son in law. what all docuents and legal requirement for this? more over what will be the tax implication on my client and her grand son in law

Assuming the property is self acquired, your client need to execute a gift deed at sub register office. Government fees will 1% of the government value of the land.

Which personal law applies in your case? Or are all involved; Hindu? The said property is self earned/acquired, ancestral? Confirm!
