General power of attorney

would any one answer -- whether a natural person having general power of attorney in respect of an immovable property is competent himself to gift such a property to his blood relative on his own? if gift deed of the property is registered what would be its status i.e would that be considered as legal and valid? what remedies the principal would have if the gift is invalid?

Gift Deed can be executed by POA /SPOA if the Power of attorny Terms specify the property to be gifted and the person to whom it is to be gifted - Authorisation shall be very Specif and Clear
