Free property

Dear all,

I'm planning to buy home.

The property was given by Government in 1972 to public with an agreement "Not to sell for next 30 years". This was then converted to A-Katha and sold to a person.

Is it safe for me to buy this home?

Is there any chance that government will acquire this land back?

If it's safe then, what are the procedures I need to go-through to buy this home?

Appreciate your help!

Thanks in advise.

If any of the conditions of award/Inaam are not violated then there should not be objection.

Regret can’t comment on prerogative of Govt to acquire for a purpose.

‘Buyer Beware’ applies to property deals.

It shall always be better to obtain proper legal opinion from a very able counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property matters at your location, wherever it is, before you pay any amount/advance to seller or even bank, and sign on any document.
