Hi,
I would like to know that, for forming a residents association of a apartment doe we need to register under the 'Kerala Apartment Ownership Act 1983' or under 'The Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Society Registration Act 1955'.
There are 24 owners in this apartment, but only 15 members had done the registration. Among that only 07 members are presently available. hope same is sufficient to form the association.

Association registration is a must under the Kerala Apartments owners Act.

It is better to get it registered under the provisions of Kerala Apartment ownership Act, 1983, consult a lawyer before registration.
