Foreign Divorce

Hi I got divorced from my ex wife in 2015. She was in the US and I was in India. She didn't want to come to India for the divorce and hence we went for a US divorce. Her lawyers sent me a soft copy of the divorce decree. I had asked for a hard copy but they didn't send it. I wrote multiple times over the years to my ex wife and her lawyers but to no avail. I am going to be married again in a few months time and I need to notify my employers. However HR is asking for a hard copy since I'm a Govt employee. What should I do? Will a notarized version of the soft copy work ?
