Family sattlement

Dear Hounarable lawyers

I have got the rights on some part of the ancesteral proerty alongwith shares of  my two brothers and one sister.

My. Brother have offered me to leave the rights on property by taking the money against my share on preoperty through Family sattlement.

My querry : Applicability of stamp duty on such even if the land is not in my name. This is just a family sattlement, not a sale / transfer deed.

Pls. resolve my querry
