Family property

Hi,

Our family owns a property in our native place. My father came to Mumbai in search of a job. We are staying here for almost 30 years in Mumbai. In these 30 years my uncle who is younger brother to my father has built 2 floor building with his own money on family land.

Now the question is how can we get our own right of land in that family property? Are we still legally entitled to the property?
