Is my dependent elderly mother not considered as my  family member rather a "Relative'" under section 93 subsection 2 (a) of West Bengal Co-Op Societies Act 2006 ? Where can I find a definition of family members in this regard.

Generally, the definition of Family include the Parents, Spouse and Children. So far my best of knowledge and belief your elderly mother will not be considered as your memeber of family.
