Mrs S subramanian

Petitioner is the one who files a divorce petition before the court and it is
alwayscontesting one.

Chief affidavit is some thing secondary after the main petition for dissolution of marriage is filed which is primary.

The one who petitions for divorce need to mandatorily file a petition in the form of A CHIEF AFFIFDAVIT where he states all the brief facts and averments under oath before the court deapite stating every thing in the original petition without am oath.

After the chief affidavit is filed the defendants counsel will cross examine the petitioner.

the complainant who is the wife shestill retains the right to file a case at any given point of time if the differences arise between both .Hence it is suggested that you contest the case.
