समता ही स्थिरता का आधार है

 

विष्णु पुराण १। १७ । ९९ में कहा है-
"सर्वत्र दैत्या: समतामुपेत समत्वमाराधनमच्युतस्य " ।

लौकिक अर्थ में अच्युत उसे कहते हैं जो कभी च्युत न हो , जिसकी अवनति न हो, जिसका क्षरण न हो। अतएव, स्थिर सत्ता, समृद्धि एवं शक्ति को प्राप्त करने तथा प्राप्त होने पर उसे अडिग बनाये रखने के लिए सर्वत्र सबके प्रति समता का व्यवहार ही सर्वोत्तम साधन है। यही अच्युत शक्ति की सच्ची आराधना है।
