Employement condition and leave pattern

Dear Legal experts,

I worked in a Private University where the terms and condition are:

1. If we resign one need to give 3 months notice or 3 months salalry in leiu of that.

2. But employer can releave with just one month notice or one month salary in leiu of that.

3. Only 14 Casual leave. No other leaves apart from 10 religious general holiday

Is it correct to have such condition, do private universities are free to frame such rules?

Can some thing be done or how one can fight to modify such rules for every one.

Please give your valuable comments.

The rules appear reasonable and legally justifiable.
