Hi, This is with reference to the harrassment happening in our office (bpo company) with all employees and this is bcos of poor top management and their dirsuptive and threatening behaviour. This is leading to physically and metally harrased and employees feel insecured of their job. Please advise how to handle this situation and how to make management held responsible legally and take appropriate actions.

What is the exact nature of harassment? Please describe each and every step carefully if you want some valid advice.

Moreover, if there is so called any "physical harassment" against the employees, then it is advisable to lodge a police complaint at the earliest.

As it is a BPO, the working hours and other conditions are governed by the provisions of the local Shops & Establishment Act?

First thing First; Generate irrefutable evidence.

BPO has to register.

Shops & Establishment Act of the state shall provide you all information you want.

You may also go thru various registers prescaribed under Shops & Establishment Rules of the state.

BPO employe's have also formd unions and trad unions are willing to embrace.

You can lodge complaint with:

Inspector appointed under : Shops & Establishment Act , payment of Wages Act, O/o Labor commissioner, police, court of law, higher officials of dept. of Labor, unions........

If you are unwilling to discuss better consult a very able Labor Law Consultnat/Service matters Lawyer....
