EPF issue against employer

Dear sir. we are worked as a contract employees in central govt. organization.. our contractor deduct 12 % of basic salary as EPF but lesser amount remitted to EPF account.. example Rs.870 deducted from us but they are remitted Rs.817 only.. and another 6 months Rs.964 deducted from us but they are remitted Rs.780 only to EPF account.. we asked to employer to clarify the different but they are not responds.. in the past two years of our contract period we lost Rs.1500 as employee share and Rs. 1500 as employer share.. so we kindly requested you to give legal advice.. please help us..

Lodge complaint with principle Employer and with EPFO thru RPFC in nearest PF office under proper acknowledgment, and also with Employee's/Trade Unions.

agreeing with Mr Kumar Doab, I will also add that submit a complaint to the chief vigilance officerof the deptt where you served as the officers responsible for passinghis bills have not ensured compiance with employer liability by contractor.

 

Princiapl employer is equally responsible to EPFO and ESI.
