I want to know , if both the parties remain absent from the court proceedings for more than 4 years , what action is possible from the court

for non appearance of parties the proceedings may be dismissed. in which case, fresh proceedings would be instituted

The court give date not dismiss case.  Women empowerment is prime importance even to modi sarkar.

If it is civil case or dv act case will dismissed. if it is criminal case like 498a NBW will be issued
