Dont want to change name after marriage

Hi,

I have been married for a year & half & I am still carrying my father's name as my middle name & his surname as mine. I have no intention of changing my name unless it is extremely necessary.

Can you please advise me if i carry my maiden name forever & if i will need to produce any affidavit to do so?

no you can continue with your original name if you want.there is no such provision and law and rule in any state forcing some one to change his name after marriage.this is against the constitutional rights.feel free to call

AS PER LAW, THERE IS NO NEED TO CHANGE SURNAME AFTER MARRIAGE, WE CHANGE THE SAME FOR HONOUR AND RITUALS. NO AUTHORITY CAN FORCE YOU TO DO SO, IF DONE, SEND ADVOCATE'S LETTER TO CLARIFY THE SAME . EVEN MY WIFE IS CONTINUE HER FATHER SURNAME TILL NOW, FIRSTLY WE HAVE SOME PROBLEM BUT LATER ON IT IS OK . AND PRESENT TIME IT IS ALL KNOWN.
