Domestic violence

My wife filed false DV and mentioned my whole family members name, most of them were even not stay with me from last 15 years. And also filed 498 complain in CAW which is rejected by CAW

Can you please help me i mean what will be the procedure and stages?

Is all family members will called in the court? or any chance to get arrested?

Dear querist,

Any think in totality can be said after going through FIR/Petition submitted in court.

Although domestic violence case is criminal in nature but proceeding takes as somewhat like civil case.

If the complain is accepted then all the accused need to presented in court otherwise case will not move.

You need to apply for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest.

Thanks a lot joshi sir But i didnt get your point Complain accepted by whome court or CAW? As CAW denied complaint ? And also my wife mentioned wrong names of my brother in law and my sister i.e she mentioned my surname in there surname Is that worthful?
