Divorce ex parte decreeet set aside

Dear Sirs, I got my divorce as an exparte decree on 20th May 2016. My wife has now filed IA on 25 Aug 2016 to set aside the ex parte decree. However, she has filed an IA through her father who is a power agent for her. The power agent has sworn the petition and not the wife herself. Is this IA maintenable under law where power agent sworns petitions. Please advice.
