Divorce and passport

Hello,

So I got my Passport 6 years ago and that time I was single.

Then I got married and got divorced this year. We had a calm mutual consent divorce and no disputes, no kids , no property.

Neither she or I got our passports changed from status of Single to Married.

Now do I need to change my passport from Single to Divorced ?  or should I just keep it as it is.?

Thank you.

Keep it as is, next time when you marry, get the marital status changed by submitting Marriage certificate.

Hi Vijay Thanks for replying. Actually we never registered marriage either. However we got it legally dissolved as I read no certificate almost= live in almost = same rules. So we got legally the divorce decree and certificate. So shall I keep my passport as it is or get status to divorced.
