Dispute with broker

I had paid Rs3lacs to book a flat in Sohna (Haryana) via a broker. I had made it clear to the broker that I would want to get out of this in 6-8 mths time. The booking was done during the soft launch stage.

Now when I spoke to thebroker and the developer regarding cancellation of the booking (resale not possible as prices have not moved), the developer asked me to get a NOC from the broker. The broker is now asking for Rs50,000/- to give a NOC.

My questions are:

1. Is it legal/correct for the broker to not give a NOC?

2. Does the developer really need a NOC from the broker?

3. How can I get a full refund without incurring a loss?

Dear, Broker is not any authority to issue NOC, they are in connivance trying to get money from you. Advocate kapil chandna.9899011450

I agrre with Kapil Broker has got nothing to do with your refund. It would depend on the terms and conditions of your agreement with the Builder . It is advisable to approach the consumer forum
