Dilema under hindu adoption & maintenance case

Dear Members, I would like to know can a married women having no child neither adopted by us go and file a case under Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act for seeking maintenance.

We neither have any kid nor we have adopted. she has filed a case under the said Act and seeking for maintenance.

Please advise whether she can ask for maintenance under this Act.
