I don't think an attorney holder can replace a complainant in such complainant's deposition as the role of a Complainant is of a very personal nature and substituting such person can materially affect the case.

No ! That for issuance of process under Section 200 CrPC the complainant in person ought to have been examined in person by the Ld. Magistrate empowered to taken cognizance.
