Dear All,
How to give a Dept Enquiry against 498a FIL who is working as School Assistant for a State Govt.
In the FIR 498a FIL claims that he gave dowry and the same was in the charge sheet by the IO.
Can we directly enclose the FIR and charge sheet and send it to the school where he is working or is there any format to give a Dept Enq

When the FIL says that he gave any amount in the form of dowry, he attracts punishment under IPC 3. FIR could be filed against him or infact it is the duty of the police officer in-charge to also register FIR under IPC 3 against the parents of the girl at the sametime as that of registering FIR under IPC 498a for dowry issue. You could write to the concerned police station and SP, DGP, COP a separate RTI under section 7 and get details about what police has done for both the cases. In a similar thread I have already provided a sample for such a RTI.
