I was working in a government organization and resigned in 2013 to start my own textile company. During the financial years 2010-11 and 2011-12, I was paid Transport Allowance. Now the department says that I was not eligible for the transport allowance and is planning to recover it. Can they recover it? Will this come under the purview of Limitation Act and get time barred? Please clarify.
