Demand of documents by special officer made on stranger to the suit.

A demand of Documents has been made by special officer/receiver appointed by the court on the person who is not a party to the suit. For your kind reference the text of the order is "the Court below rightly appointed a Special Officer/Receiver to make an inventory of the occupants and keep accounts of the occupation charges paid by such occupants" Now, the Special officer appointed by the court demands for the documents such as Agreement, receipt, statement pertaining to occupation in the suit property from tenant who is not the party to the suit. What defense is available to that third part for the said demand? Please also suggest some citation in this regard.
