Defamation case regarding

Dear Experts,

Somebody has levelled some allegations against me in a high level meeting where i was not there. I came to know all these by a honorable member of that meeting. I do not have any black and white proof of these allegations. These allegations are very disturbing in my career.

In this situation, can i go for filling a defamation case in court? How can i proof it in court?

Please suggest.

You may consult a lawyer specializing in criminal law and proceed further under expert advise of your lawyer.

if you have audio or video recordings of the incident then with that proof in hand you can file case or else if you dont have any proof and if you came to know through your colleague or someone else who attended the meeting then it is difficult to prove in court if you file case

If you have any witnesses, you can file civil defamation.  There is a controversy about criminal defamation to dissolve, hence it is doubtful.

file defamation if anyone is willing to go to court for evidence.
