Hi,
Case : A couple want to adopt a girl child since they dont have any child...n they want to adopt their sisters daughter ( one among two)....there are no problem regarding the child's age n the adopters age as the age comes under the law...and the two families are fine with the decision...and my quetion is...if they want to adopt do they have to register the deed alone or have to file a suit to get the certificate from the court for adoption?

yes, you can get from permission as per law, so you can approach a lawyer they will guide you, its having some procedure .

Adoption Deed is required and the deed must be registered by sub registrar also the ceremony regarding given the child by natural parents and taken by adoptive parents should be perfomed..

What is the procedure to adopt a christian girl child ( father christian and mother hindu )by a hindu parents ?
